Johor Darul Ta’zim extend their winning run with a commanding 4-1 victory over Kelantan TRW at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium
KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) reaffirmed their status as defending champions with a dominant 4-1 victory over Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) FC.
The Super League match at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium saw the hosts take control from the outset.
Jairo De Macedo Da Silva opened the scoring with a powerful 22nd-minute header from a Manuel Federico Hidalgo Gasparini cross.
Alberto Diaz Martin doubled JDT’s lead just before halftime, tapping in a pass from Jairo Da Silva in the 43rd minute.
The Southern Tigers emerged even more aggressive after the break.
Oscar Arribas Pasero extended the lead to 3-0 in the 53rd minute.
Muhammad Nazmi Faiz Mansor added a fourth goal just four minutes later, sealing the comprehensive win.
Kelantan TRW managed a consolation goal in the 74th minute through a long-range lob by Muhammad Nor Azam Abdul Azih.
The visitors nearly scored a second when Muhammad Syaahir Saiful Nazim fired wide from outside the box in the 78th minute.
The victory continues JDT’s formidable form in the 2025/2026 Super League season.
