Selangor FC’s unbeaten ACC run continues after a 1-1 draw with Dynamic Herb Cebu in Manila, leaving them with five points from three matches.
MANILA: Selangor FC maintained their unbeaten start to the ASEAN Club Championship 2025/2026 with a 1-1 draw against Dynamic Herb Cebu.
The Malaysian side controlled the early proceedings at the Rizal Memorial Stadium but could not convert their chances in the first half.
Selangor’s defence was tested just before the break by a powerful Esrom Paulos shot, which goalkeeper Kalamullah Al-Hafiz Mat Rowi saved brilliantly.
Dynamic Herb Cebu took the lead two minutes after halftime through Abou Sy, who headed in a corner delivered by Paulos.
Selangor found their equaliser when Lira diverted a cross from Autra past Cebu goalkeeper Jeridi.
Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages but were unable to find a decisive goal.
The result gives Selangor five points from three matches, comprising one win and two draws.
Dynamic Herb Cebu earned their first point of the competition with the draw. – Bernama
