Tengku Hazman vows to restore Terengganu FC’s reputation

Interim head coach Tengku Hazman pledges to rebuild TFC’s standing in the M-League, calling for fan support to turn the team’s fortunes around

TERENGGANU FC interim head coach Tengku Hazman Raja Hassan has vowed to restore the team’s reputation in the 2025/2026 Malaysia League.

Appointed to replace Badrul Afzan Razali, the 48-year-old acknowledged the heavy responsibility of turning around The Turtles’ performances with six months of the season remaining.

The former Terengganu midfielder said he is determined to give his utmost to regain the trust of the club’s supporters.

“This is a huge task, but I am taking on the responsibility with full commitment and will do my utmost to ensure TFC achieve positive results,” he said.

Tengku Hazman called for continued backing from the fans to help rebuild the squad’s standing.

“To the supporters, I hope they will continue to give their support so that we can work together to rebuild TFC’s reputation at the top of the league,” he added.

His appointment follows the dismissal of Badrul Afzan Razali due to the team’s lacklustre performances this season.

Tengku Hazman is familiar with Terengganu football, having previously guided TFC II to the inaugural 2018 Challenge Cup title.
