Malaysian rider Hakim Danish carries positive momentum from Barcelona to Portugal GP after strong JuniorGP World Championship performance.
MALAYSIAN rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli will compete in the Moto3 category at the Portuguese Grand Prix from November 7 to 9 with renewed confidence following his recent performance in Barcelona.
The 18-year-old achieved ninth place in Race 1 and sixth position in Race 2 during the FIM JuniorGP World Championship in Barcelona last week.
Hakim Danish described his Barcelona performance as an extraordinary step forward in his racing development.
He expressed his commitment to learning as much as possible while delivering his best performance on the track during the upcoming Portuguese event.
The young rider will work closely with his team and crew to ensure they are fully prepared and competitive for the race weekend.
Hakim Danish represents FRINSA MT Helmets MSI as a replacement for Japan’s Ryusei Yamanaka, who suffered a season-ending injury to his left little finger.
This opportunity allows the Terengganu-born rider to gain valuable Moto3 experience before beginning his full-season campaign with the MSI Racing Team next year.
His previous Moto3 appearance at the Malaysian Grand Prix ended prematurely due to technical issues at the Sepang International Circuit on October 26.
The Portuguese Grand Prix marks his second Moto3 appearance following his wildcard debut at his home race last month. – Bernama
