Buying a gift for someone can be a headache but this Australian mum came up with an ingenious solution.
For her son’s 18th birthday, she thoughtfully got five different gift cards and arranged it all on a notice board with a note beside each card.
The note read, “Happy 18th Caylan. Treat yourself to something for the road untravelled, for your car or fishing, Enjoy now you’re 18 and legal but get home safe. Love Dad, Alicia and Ava.”
As can be seen in the picture, the note corresponded to each card such as a MasterCard debit card, gift cards for shops such as Coles, Rebel Sport, Liquorland and even for Uber.
She shared a picture of the gift online and managed to inspire a few strangers too.
A netizen commented, “That’s very cool. Great idea Hun I might just copy it.”
