Jada Pinkett-Smith managed to turn heads when she went on a trip to the Middle East with her husband, Will.
She inadvertently posted a timely photo of her outfit while on a morning walk with her husband.
In her Instagram post, she wore an orange hijab, a long batik skirt, a denim jacket and a pair of sneakers. Fans got excited because her hijab and batik pairing coincided with the month of Ramadan.
According to her caption, she dressed that way because she was accompanying Will on his “sunrise run” in her “non-glamour glory.”
Fans appreciated that she “honoured the dress code” of the Middle East and for being “respectful and open-minded.”
In other news, Berjaya Corp Group CEO Jalil Rasheed recently encouraged employees of Berjaya to wear batik to work.
This is also to promote and help Malaysian batik businesses to thrive and to keep the local craft and heritage alive.
