Ray Fisher written out of DC’s The Flash and Cyborg role will not be recast

In a shocking twist to the DC drama, Ray Fisher has reportedly been written out of DC’s The Flash!

According to The Wrap, the role of Cyborg which was played by Fisher will not be recast too. As a result, the character will no longer appear in the film starring Ezra Miller.

This outcome was stemmed from the ‘feud’ between Fisher and DC Films head Walter Hamada.

Fisher tweeted that he has decided to resign from the role due to Hamada and Justice League director Joss Whedon’s unprofessional behaviour on set.

He accused Whedon of misconduct and abusive behaviour during production of the movie, which was troubled and went through extensive reshoots following the departure of original director Zack Snyder.

Fisher also maintained producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg enabled Whedon’s behaviour at work.

This resulted in an investigation carried out by WarnerMedia at the end of August. The investigation concluded and announced that “remedial action” would take place but no further details were provided.

Last year in December, Fisher sent out a fiery tweet.

“Walter Hamada is the most dangerous kind of enabler," Fisher tweeted after it was announced Hamada's role at DC Films had been extended for three years.

"He lies, and WB PR's failed Sept. 4th hit-piece, sought to undermine the very real issues of the Justice League investigation. I will not participate in any production associated with him."

Despite all this, Fisher will appear again as Cyborg in Snyder’s upcoming extended cut of Justice League. The Snyder Cut is scheduled to be released on HBO Max later this year.
