Wanita India ditahan di KLIA cuba guna pas khas palsu ke India

SEPANG: Seorang wanita warga India berumur 45 tahun telah ditahan di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur Terminal 1 selepas cuba menggunakan pas khas palsu untuk ke India.

Agensi Kawalan dan Perlindungan Sempadan memaklumkan wanita itu ditahan di Balai Pelepasan lapangan terbang tersebut semalam.

“Hasil pemeriksaan mendapati dokumen yang dikemukakan tidak munasabah dan disahkan palsu.”

“Cubaan licik wanita terbabit digagalkan serta-merta oleh pegawai AKPS.”

Wanita itu kini ditahan untuk siasatan lanjut di bawah Seksyen 56(1)(l) Akta Imigresen 1959/63 kerana disyaki melakukan kesalahan serius.

“Dia kini ditahan di bawah Seksyen 51(5)(b) Akta Imigresen 1959/63 dan ditempatkan di Depot Imigresen KLIA bagi siasatan seterusnya.”

AKPS menegaskan bahawa sebarang cubaan menggunakan dokumen palsu tidak akan dikompromi dan akan dikenakan tindakan undang-undang paling tegas. – Bernama
