A man claims his mother’s car was scratched by Rohingya children in Ampang, sparking calls for action and accountability
NOT all mischievous behaviour by children should be brushed aside.
Putra Thabrani, took to Threads to express his frustration after his mother’s car was allegedly vandalised while parked outside a shop run by Rohingya traders in Ampang.
In a video shared online, the car can be seen covered with scratch marks around the doors, both at the front and back.
“Rohingya kids drew a line all over my mum’s car, even added circles and all,” he wrote.
He explained that when they returned to the area, the shop had already closed, with the traders operating from the parking space instead.
Their children were seen playing nearby at the time.
The post drew mixed reactions from netizens, with some calling on irresponsible immigrants and refugees to behave respectfully to avoid causing trouble to others.
Others urged Putra to lodge a police report.
However, Putra said he was unable to locate the child or the parents responsible after the incident.
Another user, Samil, commented that the government should not turn a blind eye or dismiss such incidents as “small matters”.
He claimed that some Rohingya individuals lack manners and respect for the local community, urging authorities to take action to ensure a safe and peaceful environment.
“They have already settled in many places and are showing rude and disrespectful behaviour.”
