KUALA LUMPUR: AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) has pledged its full cooperation with authorities investigating an explosion at HELP University in Bukit Damansara.
The property owner stated that the safety and well-being of the campus community is its top priority.
It said proactive measures have been taken since the incident occurred on Monday.
These include facilitating a comprehensive evaluation of the affected area and surrounding structures.
An independent forensic team has also been appointed to assist the investigation.
AmanahRaya REIT is cooperating fully with relevant authorities like the Fire and Rescue Department and police.
“The investigation process is ongoing and no conclusion has been achieved at this stage,” the company said in a statement.
It supports the investigation until all findings are confirmed and finalised.
As the property owner, it is collaborating with HELP University and property manager Knight Frank Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
The collaboration focuses on implementing safety inspections and risk evaluations at the premises.
Preventive measures are also being reviewed as part of routine maintenance and safety protocols.
These actions form part of its role in supporting a secure campus environment.
