The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and adidas have unveiled the Official Match Ball for the ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ 2026, which kicks off on July 24.
adidas, the Official Performance Partner of ASEAN United FC, designed and manufactured the FIFA Quality Pro-Certified ball to mark the tournament’s 30th anniversary, featuring Teamgeist-inspired design elements in navy and orange that reflect the vibrance of ASEAN football.
Celebrating three decades, the Hyundai Cup™ sees 11 ASEAN national teams compete biennially for regional supremacy. Vietnam are the defending champions after beating Thailand 5-3 on aggregate in the 2024 final.
The size 5 match ball weighs between 430 and 440 grams and carries the Hyundai Cup™ 2026 branding and ASEAN United FC insignia on adidas’ signature ‘Triangle’ grain surface.
AFF President Major General Khiev Sameth said the ball symbolises 30 years of ambition, rivalry and shared passion across Southeast Asia, while adidas Southeast Asia Senior Brand Director Fanny Lanctot described it as a reflection of the tournament’s international standing and adidas’ commitment to football development in the region.
The Hyundai Cup™ 2026, the 16th edition of the tournament, will run from July 24 to August 26.
Vietnam headline Group A alongside Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and a qualifier, while Thailand face Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar and Laos in Group B. Brunei Darussalam and Timor-Leste will contest a two-leg playoff in June for the final group-stage spot, with the official match ball expected to go on retail sale from May.
