Pemandu kren direman disyaki dera anak saudara berusia 6 tahun

KANGAR: Seorang lelaki bekerja sebagai pemandu kren direman atas tuduhan mendera anak saudara lelakinya yang berusia enam tahun di sebuah rumah di Jalan Kilang Ais, Kuala Perlis.

Ketua Polis Daerah Kangar ACP Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop menyatakan lelaki berusia 26 tahun itu ditahan pada pukul 12.20 tengah malam semalam.

Suspek disyaki memukul tangan kiri kanak-kanak tersebut dengan tali pinggang sehingga menyebabkan kesan lebam pada tangan mangsa.

Polis menerima laporan daripada ibu saudara mangsa sebelah ibu berusia 37 tahun pada semalam selepas kanak-kanak itu mendakwa dipukul bapa saudaranya.

Kejadian dipercayai berlaku kira-kira pukul 5 petang semasa mangsa berada di rumah datuknya di Jalan Kilang Ais.

Punca kejadian dipercayai berpunca daripada mangsa yang bermain dan menconteng mukanya sendiri menggunakan pen penmarker di ruang tamu.

Suspek dipercayai tidak berpuas hati dengan perbuatan mangsa lalu melarangnya sebelum bertindak memukul menggunakan tali pinggang.

Mangsa pernah mendakwa dipukul suspek yang tinggal bersama datuknya beberapa kali sebelum ini.

Ibu saudaranya tidak membuat laporan polis ketika itu kerana ingin menjaga hubungan baik dalam keluarga.

Kanak-kanak itu bersama dua lagi adik-beradiknya berusia empat dan sembilan tahun dijaga oleh wanita tersebut dan datuk sebelah bapa.

Mereka dijaga secara bergilir-gilir sejak tahun 2022 selepas ibu bapa mereka bercerai.

Mangsa bersama adik lelaki dan kakaknya telah dirujuk ke Hospital Tuanku Fauziah untuk pemeriksaan lanjut.

Suspek direman sehingga hari Rabu untuk siasatan lanjut mengikut Seksyen 31(1)(a) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001. – Bernama
