A lorry driver was attacked by two helmeted motorcyclists in Taman Sri Murni, suffering arm injuries in an unprovoked assault.
BATU CAVES: A lorry driver was injured after being attacked by two unknown individuals on a motorcycle in Taman Sri Murni last Friday.
Sentul police chief ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said the 28-year-old victim was slashed several times on his left arm with a machete near Block 58 of the Taman Sri Murni flats at about 11 pm.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Initial investigations revealed the victim did not know the suspects and had no prior disputes with anyone.
“The victim stated that the suspects suddenly approached him and immediately attacked without provocation,” Ahmad Sukarno said in a statement.
The victim’s girlfriend, who was present, witnessed the incident but could not identify the suspects as they were wearing helmets.
She confirmed the victim did not owe anyone money.
The victim is currently receiving treatment at Selayang Hospital.
Police are investigating the case under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons. – Bernama
