The heartwarming moment was shared on Threads by a woman who said she had stopped under the bridge at Jalan Parliment in Kuala Lumpur along with several other riders to wait for the rain to ease.
She admitted that she had just been thinking about how hungry she was when the unexpected happened.
“I had just thought to myself, ‘I’m hungry,’ and then this uncle suddenly started giving out free putu mayam to all the riders waiting under the bridge,” she wrote.
The thoughtful gesture quickly resonated with Threads users, many of whom believed the seller decided to give away his remaining stock because the rain had prevented him from continuing his business for the day.
