Dr Wan Azizah: Wanita Malaysia perlu peka terhadap golongan memerlukan

PUTRAJAYA: Wanita di Malaysia perlu sentiasa peka dan membuat kebaikan kepada golongan yang memerlukan lebih-lebih lagi pada Ramadan ini, kata isteri Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Beliau yang juga Pengerusi Pertubuhan Kebajikan Amal Silaturahim Isteri-isteri Harapan Malaysia (Kasih Malaysia) turut mengajak wanita mengamalkan sikap toleransi dalam masyarakat berbilang kaum di negara ini.

“Kita dijadikan berlainan bangsa untuk saling mengenal antara satu sama lain, kita sama-sama cuba lakukan yang terbaik dan perbaiki diri supaya Ramadan kali ini menjadi Ramadan terbaik,” katanya pada Majlis Khatam Al-Quran dan Iftar Kasih Malaysia 2024 di kediaman rasmi perdana menteri di Seri Perdana di sini, hari ini.

Menyentuh mengenai nasib rakyat Palestin di Gaza, Dr Wan Azizah berkata Malaysia tidak pernah melupakan mereka, malah kerajaan telah mencuba sedaya upaya untuk menyokong agar hak mutlak bebas mereka dikembalikan.

Lebih 200 tetamu menghadiri majlis itu yang bermula dengan solat asar berjemaah diikuti acara khatam al-Quran, tazkirah, berbuka puasa dan seterusnya solat maghrib, isyak serta tarawih berjemaah.

Pada majlis itu, Dr Wan Azizah turut menyampaikan sumbangan kepada 50 individu terdiri daripada asnaf dan ibu tunggal dari Parlimen Hulu Selangor, Shah Alam, Hulu Langat, Kota Raja dan Sepang di Selangor.

Turut hadir pada majlis itu ialah Timbalan Pengerusi Kasih Malaysia Datin Seri Azlin Hezri yang juga isteri Menteri Kesihatan Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad dan ahli Kasih Malaysia. –Bernama
