AADK Perak tumpu empat daerah kawasan berisiko tinggi kes dadah

SERI ISKANDAR: Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan (AADK) Perak menyasarkan untuk memulihkan semula empat daerah berisiko tinggi yang aktif dengan kegiatan penyalahgunaan dadah di seluruh negeri itu, menjelang akhir tahun ini.

Pengarahnya Mohamad Nor Musa berkata empat daerah menjadi tumpuan itu ialah Larut Matang dan Selama (Taiping), Kerian (Parit Buntar), Perak Tengah (Pasir Salak) dan Kinta (Sungai Raia).

“Kita sudah memulakan pemulihan kawasan di empat daerah terbabit menerusi program ‘penghijauan’ kawasan daripada gejala penyalahgunaan dadah sejak awal tahun ini, agar empat daerah tersebut berada di tahap risiko rendah dan menjadi Kawasan Bebas Dadah (KBD),” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian selepas program UTP Zero Substance Abuse Campaign dan Sambutan Peringatan Hari Antidadah 2024 Peringkat Negeri Perak di Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) dekat sini hari ini.

Turut hadir, Timbalan Naib Canselor, Hal Ehwal Pelajar UTP Profesor Ir Ts Dr Nor Hisham Hamid, Timbalan Pengarah (Pengurusan) Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Perak S Velan, Pegawai Daerah Perak Tengah Mohd Zaki Abdul Rahman dan Ketua Polis Daerah Perak Tengah Supt Hafezul Helmi Hamzah.

Mohamad Nor berkata AADK Perak mampu mencapai sasaran berkenaan dengan kerjasama erat pelbagai agensi kerajaan, komuniti dan badan bukan kerajaan (NGO).

Beliau berkata kempen 1 juta belia menyertai Skuad Antidadah AADK yang dilancarkan Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) juga turut mampu mainkan peranannya dan AADK Perak menyasarkan pendaftaran lebih 65,000 ahli selain mempergiatkan program belia dan aktiviti gaya hidup sihat di seluruh daerah di negeri ini. -Bernama
