Banjir kembali landa Johor, empat daerah terjejas

JOHOR BAHRU: Banjir kembali melanda Johor susulan hujan lebat berterusan sejak malam tadi, menyaksikan empat daerah terjejas setakat 2 petang ini.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Negeri (JPBN) Tan Sri Azmi Rohani berkata kesemua daerah itu ialah Kluang, Mersing, Johor Bahru dan Kota Tinggi dengan 330 orang daripada 70 keluarga dipindahkan ke tujuh pusat pemindahan sementara (PPS).

Beliau berkata di Kluang 44 orang daripada 14 keluarga dari Kampung Contoh, Kahang ditempatkan di PPS Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Kluang manakala PPS Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Air Papan dan SK Tenglu di Mersing masing-masing menempatkan 25 orang daripada enam keluarga serta 27 orang daripada lima keluarga.

“Di Johor Bahru, 234 orang daripada 45 keluarga dari Kampung Sentosa Damai dan Kampung Sentosa Barat berlindung di PPS Dewan Muafakat Kampung Cahaya manakala jumlah mangsa banjir yang berada di PPS Dewan Kampung Sungai Tiram sedang dikemas kini.

“Sebanyak dua PPS telah dibuka di Kota Tinggi iaitu di Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina New Kota dan Dewan Pasak Indah, namun jumlah mangsa juga sedang dikemas kini,” katanya.

Sementara itu, laluan di Felda Semenchu (Rumah Pam) dan Teluk Sengat di Kota Tinggi ditutup kepada semua kenderaan susulan air naik hingga 0.75 meter dan arus deras manakala Jalan Kota Tinggi-Kluang (Batu 25), Jalan Lok Heng/Mawai/Sungai Mas (Sungai Semalok) dan Jalan Lukut Cina-Batu Ampat (Taman Aman) pula hanya boleh dilalui oleh kenderaan berat.

Di Mersing laluan ditutup melibatkan jalan Kampung Orang Asli Peta, Jalan Johor Bahru- Endau dan Jalan Batu Pahat-Jemaluang.

Sungai Kahang di Kampung Contoh pula telah melepasi paras bahaya dengan bacaan 14.52 meter (m) manakala Sungai Siku di Kampung Murni Jaya, Kulai pada paras amaran dengan 18.89m. –Bernama
