Tiga lelaki warga asing maut dilanggar komuter

KUALA LUMPUR: Tiga lelaki termasuk dua warga Bangladesh dan seorang rakyat Myanmar maut selepas dipercayai dirempuh komuter dalam insiden di landasan KTM Puncak Utama Jade Hill, semalam.

Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JPBM) Selangor Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail berkata pihaknya menerima panggilan kecemasan berhubung insiden berkenaan pada 10.53 malam.

Katanya satu jentera bomba dengan lima anggota dan pegawai dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Kajang digerakkan ke lokasi kejadian.

“Kesemua mangsa berumur lingkungan 30 hingga 40-an tidak tersepit namun tercampak ke sisi landasan dan disahkan meninggal dunia oleh pasukan perubatan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM),” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Beliau berkata operasi tamat pada 12.15 pagi dan kes diserah kepada pihak Polis Diraja Malaysia untuk tindakan lanjut.

Dalam pada itu, polis mengesahkan ketiga-tiga mangsa itu adalah pemegang kad Suruhanjaya Tinggi Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu Bagi Pelarian (UNHCR).

Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Kajang Supt Mohamad Nasir Drahman berkata kes diklasifikasikan sebagai mati mengejut.

“Kesemua mayat mangsa dihantar ke Jabatan Forensik Hospital Kajang untuk bedah siasat dan mengenal pasti punca kematian,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Beliau meminta orang ramai yang mempunyai maklumat mengenai kejadian berkenaan untuk menghubungi mana-mana balai polis berdekatan atau terus menghubungi Pegawai Penyiasat Sarjan Ariffin di talian 012-2444608 bagi membantu siasatan. –Bernama
