Hakim Danish ready to take on Portimão

The Moto3 World Championship returns this week, with the action heading to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal. Famously nicknamed the “Roller Coaster,” the circuit is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes and series of fast, technical corners. With nine right-hand turns and six to the left, it promises a thrilling challenge for Hakim Danish.

Hakim joins this round as a replacement rider for Ryusei Yamanaka of the MT MSi Racing Team, who is sidelined following surgery that rules him out of the final two races of the 2025 season — the PortugueseGP and ValencianGP.

“I’m truly grateful to the MSi Racing Team for trusting me with this opportunity to step in for Ryusei Yamanaka, who’s currently recovering from surgery. I wish him a full and speedy recovery, and I hope to make him and the team proud.

Coming straight from the JuniorGP race in Barcelona, I’m feeling confident, motivated, and ready to take on this Moto3 World Championship weekend. It’s an incredible step for me, and I’m focused on learning as much as I can while giving my absolute best on track. I’ll be working closely with my team, crew, and staff to ensure we’re fully prepared and competitive. I’m really looking forward to representing MSi Racing and giving everything I have out there.”

Fresh from a strong showing at the FIM JuniorGP World Championship in Barcelona — finishing ninth in Race 1 and sixth in Race 2 — Hakim Danish carries solid momentum into the PortugueseGP this weekend.
