China to purchase 500,000 tonnes of Thai rice – Anutin

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirms China will buy 500,000 tonnes of Thai rice during King’s state visit to Beijing.

BANGKOK: Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said in a Facebook post on Friday that Chinese President Xi Jinping told Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn that Beijing will buy 500,000 tonnes of Thai rice.
