New EP marks bold rock-driven evolution
RECOGNISED for his unique sound, emotional depth and versatility, Korean singer-songwriter and producer Shaun has released [Last Page], his new EP that weaves together his memories through a wide sonic spectrum.
Departing from his previous pop-centric style, Shaun has placed a more rock-based band sound at the forefront of the mini album as he draws from his rich experience as a former band member to bridge his musical roots with the present.
Out of the five tracks on the EP, its title track stands out as Out of Control lives up to its name with a rich, explosive sound that delivers on Shaun’s expanded musical spectrum.
Rock-rooted finale
The EP also serves as the grand finale to his pre-release trilogy that built anticipation leading up to the release over the past few months, beginning with Pixels and then followed by Night Walk and Diary.
Following his transition to an independent path as a self-producing artiste, Shaun has taken full control of the production process to tell his story more directly than he has ever done.
Shaun will next hold a solo concert with a full band live set on May 10 to commemorate the EP’s release.
