Megat Shahriman Zaharudin named among 24 Bersatu candidates for Negeri Sembilan state polls.

NILAI: Malaysian Paralympics Council president Datuk Seri Megat D Shahriman Zaharudin has been announced as one of the 24 Parti Peribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) candidates contesting in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election.

Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the Negeri Sembilan Canoe Association (NESCA) president will contest the Seri Menanti seat at the Bersatu candidate announcement ceremony at Dewan Aminah Hamid today.

The Election Commission has set nomination day for the stat election on Saturday, with early voting on July 28 and polling day on Aug 1.
