Jordan Mintah returns to Terengganu FC for new season

Former Kuching City striker Jordan Mintah rejoins Terengganu FC on a one-season contract for the 2026/2027 Malaysia League campaign.

KUALA NERUS: Former Kuching City FC (KCFC) striker Jordan Mintah has rejoined Terengganu FC (TFC) for the 2026/2027 Malaysia League season.

Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB), in a statement today, confirmed that the 30-year-old naturalised player has signed a one-season contract from July until May 31, 2027.

According to the statement, Mintah previously played for TFC in 2020 before being loaned to Kuala Lumpur City FC (KL City FC) in 2023. He subsequently joined The Cats in 2024.

“After some time away, Jordan Mintah has returned to strengthen the Turtles’ attacking line as the team prepares for a more demanding league campaign this season.

“His vast experience in both local and international football makes Mintah an important asset in reinforcing TFC’s attacking department this season,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, Mintah said in the same statement that he was grateful and delighted to return to TFC, which he regards as his second home.

He said he was determined to repay the club’s confidence in him by working hard to enhance the team’s reputation and achieve its targets for the season.

Coached by Mohd Nafuzi Zain, TFC have recruited one naturalised player, five import players and three new local signings in preparation for the Malaysia League campaign, which begins on Aug 22.

The import players are Manuel Ott (the Philippines), Victor Ruiz (Spain), Elvis Kasomba (Burundi), Habib Haroon (Bahrain) and Ngweni Ndasi (Cameroon).

The new local signings are Ahmad Haziq Kutty Abba, Muhammad Faiz Mazlan and Muhammad Danial Amier Norhisham, while Romel Morales joins the squad as a naturalised player.
