Adnex wins RM10.96m Hilti Asia fit-out contract, strengthens MNC client portfolio

KUALA LUMPUR: Adnex Group Bhd, which is primarily involved in the provision of interior fit-out services, has added another sizeable corporate project to its portfolio after securing a RM10.96 million interior design and fit-out contract for Hilti Asia IT Services Sdn Bhd at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 1, further strengthening its growing portfolio of multinational corporate clients.

The contract was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Adnex Interior Solution Sdn Bhd, by JLL Project and Construction Management Sdn Bhd, as the general contractor for the project undertaken for Hilti Asia.

The project commenced on July 21, 2026, and is expected to be completed by December 24, 2026, with a construction period of approximately five months.

The award further reflects the group’s ability to secure projects from established multinational corporations, reinforcing Adnex’s growing reputation as a trusted corporate fit-out specialist.

Managing director Kan Wai Chun said this RM10.96 million project is a meaningful win for Adnex.

“Winning projects from globally recognised companies such as Hilti Asia is strategically more meaningful than the contract value alone, as it demonstrates the trust that leading multinational corporations place in our capabilities.

“It reflects our continued ability to deliver high-quality fit-out works within tight project timelines. With the additional resources from our recent listing, we are in a stronger position to undertake larger and more complex projects while progressively growing our order book.

“Our priority is not only to expand the size of our order book, but also to enhance the quality of our client portfolio by securing more projects from leading multinational corporations and established institutions.

“As we continue to execute quality projects and expand our presence across Malaysia, we believe this growing portfolio will enhance our competitiveness and create sustainable long-term value for our shareholders,” he said.

Adnex provides interior fit-out services across a broad range of spaces, including corporate offices, commercial premises, food and beverage outlets, sales galleries, healthcare facilities and education institutions.

Its capabilities cover the coordination and execution of fit-out works required to transform new or existing spaces into functional, purpose-built environments that meet each client’s operational and design requirements.

Through the initial public offering exercise, Adnex raised RM18.10 million in gross proceeds from the public issue.

The proceeds were allocated towards business expansion, performance bonds for interior fit-out projects, repayment of bank borrowings, working capital and listing expenses.

This strengthened financial position provides the group with greater capacity to tender for larger projects, support upfront project requirements and pursue opportunities across a wider range of sectors, particularly in the corporate, healthcare, education and hospitality segments where the group continues to see encouraging demand.

Moving forward, the group remains focused on expanding its order book by pursuing opportunities across both existing and new market segments, while maintaining timely execution, cost discipline and quality delivery.

Leveraging its stronger financial position following its listing, Adnex is well positioned to undertake larger and more complex fit-out projects as it continues to expand its presence in Malaysia and selected regional markets.
