KPDN buka bilik gerakan di negeri terjejas banjir pastikan bekalan makanan

KPDN buka bilik gerakan di 5 negeri terjejas banjir untuk pantau bekalan makanan, libatkan 2,102 pemborong dan peruncit tambah stok 30%

KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup (KPDN) telah membuka bilik gerakan bagi memastikan bekalan makanan mencukupi di negeri-negeri terjejas banjir.

Timbalan Menteri KPDN Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh berkata bilik gerakan mula beroperasi hari ini di Pulau Pinang, Perlis, Kedah, Terengganu, dan Kelantan.

“Setakat ini tiada lokasi terlibat yang dilaporkan mengalami gangguan bekalan makanan,” katanya selepas Persidangan E-Dagang ASEAN 2025.

Beliau menjelaskan bilik gerakan akan memantau sekiranya bekalan terputus di mana-mana lokasi.

“Contohnya, jika barang keperluan asas seperti gula dan minyak habis, bilik gerakan akan memastikan bekalan itu sampai ke kawasan terjejas.”

Persiapan telah dilakukan dengan melibatkan 2,102 pemborong, peruncit, dan pengilang terpilih di seluruh negara.

Mereka dibenarkan menambah simpanan bekalan makanan sehingga 30% bermula awal bulan ini sehingga akhir musim tengkujuh.

Jumlah mangsa banjir di tujuh negeri setakat pagi ini meningkat kepada 10,922 orang.

Kelantan merekodkan angka tertinggi iaitu 8,248 orang daripada 3,022 keluarga di 33 pusat pemindahan sementara.

Pulau Pinang, Perlis, dan Perak turut mencatat peningkatan jumlah mangsa banjir.

Kedah dan Terengganu pula mencatatkan penurunan bilangan mangsa.
