Ballot boxes from Sabah state election polling centres begin arriving at vote counting centres in Semporna, Ranau and Nabawan.
SABAH: Ballot boxes from the 17th Sabah state election have started arriving at vote counting centres across the state.
Election Commission officers transported ballot boxes from Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulau Denawan in Sulabayan constituency via helicopter.
The helicopter landed at Semporna District Town Hall at 1.17 pm before boxes were moved to Semporna Arena Community Hall.

In Ranau, ballot boxes from Longut and Tiang polling centres for Paginatan constituency arrived at 1.23 pm.
Nabawan received its first two ballot boxes from SK Saliliran and SK Mamagun at 12.40 pm and 1.05 pm respectively.
Both Nabawan polling centres had closed at 12 pm earlier today.
The state election features 882 polling centres with 3,559 voting channels operating since 7.30 am.
Approximately 1.74 million registered voters are choosing representatives for 73 state seats.
