Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim mourns his former MCKK Malay language teacher Rabiatul Adawiah, praising her dedication and lasting influence
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed profound sadness over the passing of his former Malay language teacher Rabiatul Adawiah @ Robeahton Ahmad Damanhuri.
She taught Anwar during his time at Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK).
The Prime Minister said her death has deeply affected not only her family but all those she guided with care, wisdom and unwavering dedication.
“She was a remarkable individual who diligently instilled in her students, including myself, a love of language, knowledge and good manners,” he said.
Anwar noted that her guidance and teachings remain etched in his life and continue to shape his journey and leadership to this day.
He also prayed for her soul to be blessed, her sins forgiven and for her to be placed among Allah’s faithful servants.
The Prime Minister extended wishes for strength and patience to her family in facing this loss.
Rabiatul Adawiah, who previously served as principal of Victoria Institution, passed away on November 29. – Bernama
