KUALA LUMPUR: Immigration officers detained 17 foreign nationals during a raid at Klang Sentral in Selangor.

The operation last night targeted a three-storey shoplot suspected of operating as a prostitution premises run by foreign workers.

Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said the detainees, aged 21 to 32, consisted of eight Bangladeshi men and nine Vietnamese women.
