Man killed, another injured in Seremban shooting by motorcycle gunmen

A 43-year-old man was killed and a 47-year-old injured after being shot in their car on Jalan Rasah-Mambau in Seremban this morning

SEREMBAN: One man was killed and another injured after being shot by two men on a motorcycle in Seremban this morning.

The incident occurred at 7.30 am while the victims were in a car on Jalan Rasah-Mambau heading towards the Port Dickson Toll Plaza.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the suspects fired several shots at the car window, hitting both men inside.

The 43-year-old man was confirmed dead while receiving treatment at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital.

His 47-year-old companion sustained injuries in the attack.

“The motive for the incident is still being investigated,” Alzafny told Bernama.

He revealed that the injured man has 15 criminal records involving various offences.

The deceased man had no prior criminal record.

Police are investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The case is also being probed under Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971. – Bernama
