MetMalaysia issues a thunderstorm warning for parts of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur, forecasting heavy rain and strong winds.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm warning for three states and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, effective until noon today.
In a 9 am statement, MetMalaysia forecast thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds for several areas.

The affected areas in Selangor are Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat.
In Negeri Sembilan, the warning covers Jelebu, Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol and Tampin.
Similar adverse weather conditions are also expected in parts of Sabah.
The Sabah districts affected are Sandakan, Pitas and Kudat. – Bernama
