The Malaysian men’s Mobile Legends team settled for silver at the SEA Games, losing 4-0 to defending champions the Philippines in Bangkok.
BANGKOK: Malaysia’s men’s Mobile Legends Bang Bang team had to settle for silver at the 2025 SEA Games after a defeat to the Philippines today.
The national team was trounced 4-0 by the defending champions in a best-of-seven showdown at Sala Phra Kieo, Chulalongkorn University.
The Malaysian squad comprised Idreen Abdul Jamal as EXP Laner, Muhammad Haqqullah as Jungler, Hazziq Danish as Mid Laner, Muhammad Qayyum as Roamer, and Ealtond Rayner as Gold Laner.
This marks a repeat of the 2023 result in Cambodia, where Malaysia also took silver after a 3-0 loss to the Philippines.
The national women’s squad will continue its quest for gold when it faces the Philippines later today. – Bernama
