KUALA LUMPUR: Geohan Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Geohan Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award (LoA) valued at RM40.9 million from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd.
The LoA encompasses bored pile works, reinforced concrete works and basement wall works for a prestigious mixed development at Persiaran KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, which comprises two 65-storey serviced apartment towers with a total of 850 units.
The works are slated for completion by early June 2027.
This latest win follows a recent award of the RM28.0 million Xintiandi development project at Genting Permai, where construction commenced in May 2026.
These dual successes maintained Geohan’s order book at a comfortable level of approximately RM420 million, spanning across a diversified portfolio of residential, mixed development and infrastructure projects in Peninsular Malaysia.
These progressive billings are expected to contribute positively to the foundation and geotechnical specialist’s earnings until financial year 2027.
Commenting on the contract wins, Geohan managing director Lee Kim Seng said that amid the very volatile geopolitical landscape, the group secured these two contracts with a combined value of RM68.9 million, reaffirming its position as the preferred geotechnical specialist even in the challenging operating environment.
“These awards reflect our proven technical capabilities in delivering complex geotechnical solutions across both high-density urban developments and challenging hilly terrains.
“With these latest wins, our year-to-date contract wins have well exceeded RM200 million.
“Looking ahead, we remain cautiously optimistic and committed to operational excellence and disciplined execution as we continue to build a sustainable foundation for long-term growth,” he said.
