Continuous rain warning issued for East Coast states and Johor

MetMalaysia forecasts continuous rain in Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang and Johor from December 25 to 29, issuing an alert-level warning

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for the East Coast states and Johor.

Continuous rain is expected in Terengganu and Kelantan from December 25 to 28.

The affected districts in Kelantan are Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok, Machang and Pasir Puteh.

Similar weather conditions are forecast for parts of Pahang and Johor from December 26 to 29.

In Pahang, the warning involves Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin.

The affected districts in Johor are Segamat, Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi.
