Negeri Sembilan FC beat Kelantan TRW 2-0 with a Luqman Hakim double, while Melaka FC lost at home and KL City drew with Kuching City.
A brace from striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin powered Negeri Sembilan FC to a 2-0 Super League victory over Kelantan The Real Warriors FC.
The match at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi saw both teams trade early attacks before Luqman Hakim opened the scoring in the 36th minute.
He sealed the win in the 49th minute, capitalising on a mistake by Kelantan TRW goalkeeper Muhammad Azfar Arif Mohd Sukri outside the penalty area.
In Melaka, the hosts failed to capitalise on home advantage, falling to a 0-2 defeat against Imigresen FC at the Hang Jebat Stadium.
Eduardo Jose Sosa Vegas gave the visitors the lead in the 24th minute, pouncing on a rebound from a Joao Pedro Boeira Duarte effort.
Joao Pedro then doubled the advantage in the 30th minute, securing a comfortable 2-0 lead for Imigresen FC before halftime.
Melaka FC pushed for a comeback in the second half but could not find a way past the Imigresen defence.
Meanwhile at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, KL City FC and Kuching City played to a 1-1 draw.
Kuching City took the lead through Ronald Ngah Wanja in the 31st minute before Safawi Rasid equalised for the City Boys in first-half injury time.
