A man in his 40s died from an electric shock while painting a house in Kampung Likas, Kota Kinabalu, this morning.
KOTA KINABALU: A man in his 40s died after being electrocuted while painting a house in Kampung Likas here this morning.
Lintas Fire and Rescue Station chief Agustavia Joe Guasi said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
He sustained severe injuries, including burn marks and a severed wrist.

The department received an emergency call via the MERS999 line at 10.03 am.
A team of 10 firefighters was dispatched to the scene about three kilometres from the station.
They were accompanied by a fire engine and the Emergency Medical Rescue Services unit.
The victim’s body was later handed over to the police for further action.
