Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah consents to open the Selangor State Legislative Assembly’s first 2026 meeting on April 20, with two more sittings planned.
SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has consented to the opening of the First Meeting of the Fourth Session of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly for 2026.
The opening is scheduled for April 20, with the Sultan also expected to grace the occasion.
Selangor State Assembly Speaker Lau Weng San confirmed the royal consent today.
He stated that the second sitting will begin in August, while the third is expected in mid-November.
