SINGER and actress Jennifer Lopez (pix) said she ensures she sleeps for at least eight hours every night in order to stay looking young, and to be on top form for her children and career.
She claimed that getting a good night's rest is a priority in her life for staying healthy and retaining her good looks.
She confessed to OK! Magazine: "Sleep is my weapon."
The 45-year-old 'On The Floor' singer - who recently broke up with her boyfriend of almost three years, Casper Smart - has managed to successfully retain a youthful glow by ensuring she gets enough sleep and by not skimping on cleanser.
Talking about her routine, she said: "I try to get eight hours a night. I think what works best [for anti-ageing] is sleep, water, and a good cleanser."
Despite being a mother to six-year-old twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, Jennifer said she always makes time to rest in the evening so that she is in the best possible condition for her children and career.
"I think it's very, very important. You know, because I have the twins and because I work a lot, it's a very, very important thing to take care of myself," she added.
'Iron Man' actress Gwyneth Paltrow and model Heidi Klum have also stressed the importance of sleep, especially since they have had children.
"While Heidi admitted that she often gets up to 10 hours sleep a night by going to bed at the same time as her four children, Gwyneth joked about the impact which a lack of sleep has on her appearance.
"For me, sleep is a major thing. I don't always get it, and when I don't, I look like I've been hit by a truck," she quipped. – Bang Media
