Bodybuilder Sazali banned for steroid abuse

KUALA LUMPUR: National bodybuilder, Sazali Samad (pix) was today banned four years after he was tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
Sazali, 48, who tested positive for steroid abuse, failed a random out of competition test.
The random test was conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency of Malaysia (Adamas) on Sept 1.
He will serve the ban back-dated from Sept 22, which is the date the results were known.
During his career, Sazali clinched 10 Mr Universe and nine Mr Asia titles.
