Several areas in Klang Valley affected by water disruption

PETALING JAYA: Residents in several pockets of Klang Valley are experiencing water disruption caused by a burst pipe near the Pantai Complex Reservoir.
Air Selangor corporate communications chief Amin Lin Abdullah said 50 areas in the city are currently affected by the disruption and repair works are being expedited.
The areas include places from Section 5 to Section 21, SS2, Jalan Universiti, Jalan Pantai Baru, Kampung Kerinchi, Jalan Bangsar and Taman Weng Lock.
The unscheduled water cut is also affecting the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Pantai Medical Centre, Hospital Columbia Asia, and the Pantai Baru Fire and Rescue Station.
"Relief water supply is being sent by water tankers to hospitals and dialysis centres. Regret for the inconvenience caused," Amin Lin said in a statement today.
