Second suspect arrested in Kim Jong-Nam's murder case: IGP

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested an Indonesian woman, allegedly the second suspect responsible for the death of a North Korean man, believed to be Kim Jong-Nam, the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un today.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the 25-year-old suspect was held at 2am and was alone during the arrest.
He said she had in her possession an Indonesian passport that identified her as Siti Aishah of Serang, Indonesia.
Khalid said the suspect who is believed to be involved in the death of a 46-year-old Korean male on Monday was identified from a close-circuit security camera (CCTV) footage at the klia2.
He said investigations of the case in ongoing.
On Wednesday, a Vietnamese woman identified as Doan Thi Huong, aged 29 and from Nam Dinh was the first suspect to be arrested following the death of the Korean man who went by the name Kim Chol although he is largely believed to be Jong-Nam.
Both suspects are alleged to have sprayed a lethal substance on the victim's face causing him to fall sick and subsequently die before receiving secondary medical aid.
Police are on the hunt for four male suspects who are said to be accomplices of the two women and were spotted at the klia2 during the incident.
