DKSH partners with US' Newell Brands to drive growth in Malaysia, Brunei

KUALA LUMPUR: Newell Brands’ local enterprise, Newell Rubbermaid Sdn Bhd has appointed DKSH Business Unit Consumer Goods as the exclusive market expansion services provider for its writing, fine writing and home products in Malaysia and Brunei.
In a joint statement today, the companies said, DKSH will provide marketing, sales as well as distribution and logistics services for Sharpie permanent markers, Paper Mate gel pens, Dymo label markers and printers, Parker rollerball and ink pens as well as Rubbermaid home products.
Asia Regional Director in Writing at Newell Rubbermaid, said this collaboration was built upon Newell Brands’ existing partnership with DKSH in the business-to-business sales of Contigo water bottles and other related products in Australia.
“DKSH is a leader in market expansion services in Asia and has strong relationships in Malaysia and Brunei that will help drive our business in those countries,” he said.
He said Newell Rubbermaid was looking forward to benefit from DKSH’s decades of experience working with some of the leading food and consumer goods brands in the world and was confident that the new partnership would further accelerate the company’s growth. — Bernama
