Marquez romps Austria frees

SPIELBERG BEI KNITTELFELD, Austria: Defending champion and current overall leader Honda's Marc Marquez dominated practice for the Austrian Grand Prix Saturday as he aims for a third straight race victory.
The Spaniard was almost half a second faster that Frenchman Johann Zarco while key world championship rivals Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Vinales were fifth sixth and seventh.
Dovizioso topped Friday's first two free practice sessions and qualifying gets underway later Saturday on a so far dry track.
Marquez – winner in Germany and the Czech Republic in the last two races – sits top of the standings with a 14-point lead on Vinales.
