Mission accomplished and its back to school for Jing En

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian swimming sensation Phee Jing En who provided the only splash for Malaysia in the pool today by smashing Siow Yi Ting's eight-year old 100m breastroke SEA Games record will hardly have any time to prolong her celebrations.
The 19-year-old who is pursuing her studies in the US said she would fly back to the States since classes had already started.
"There is a lot of homework to catch up and I am a little stressed about it," said the swimmer who had returned to defend the gold in the event that she had won at the 2015 Singapore SEA Games. This SEA Games is very special for me because I am competing at home and not many people can experience that. I came back with one goal in mind – to win the gold medal for Malaysia – and I have done it," said the lass from Subang Jaya, Selangor.
She would be competing in the 200m breastroke tomorrow.
"I want to dedicate this medal to my parents, my grandma and entire family who had supported me all this while," she said.
Apart from the gold medal won today, Jinq En had also won the 50m Breastroke silver medal. — Bernama
