Najib joins Trump, Muslim leaders for Riyadh summit

RIYADH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak joined United States President Donald Trump and more than 50 Muslim leaders for a summit here Sunday, aimed at countering global extremism and terrorism.
Najib arrived at the Arab-Islamic-US Summit, held at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre here, named after Saudi Arabia's first monarch.
The leaders will address ways of building more robust and effective security partnerships to counter and prevent the growing threat of terrorism and violent extremism around the globe, through the promotion of tolerance and moderation.
Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Trump and Najib are among leaders slated to address the summit.
Najib is on a three-day working visit to Saudi Arabia since yesterday. — Bernama
