Slow moving traffic on main highways this evening

KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic was reported slow moving on major highways as at 5pm following heavier traffic volume.
A PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman said motor vehicles were seen moving sluggishly at Seberang Jaya towards Perai, Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit, Kuala Kangsar to Jelapang, Simpang Pulai to Simpang Pulai rest area and Bukit Beruntung to Sungai Buaya.
"However traffic in the south is still under control in both directions,'' he said when contacted by Bernama.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman when contacted by Bernama said traffic flow was slow before the Bentong toll plaza towards Lentang while traffic on other routes of East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 was still under control and smooth.
