SAIC Motor Malaysia has announced a revised pricing structure for the MGS5 EV, aiming to make electric mobility more accessible while reinforcing the brand’s long-term confidence in Malaysia’s growing EV market. The move underscores MG’s focus on delivering value-driven, high-quality electric vehicles tailored to local drivers’ preferences.Effective immediately, the MGS5 EV is priced at RM107,900 for the COM variant, RM117,900 for the COM Long Range, and RM127,900 for the range-topping LUX Long Range. Both the COM and LUX models are powered by a 170PS electric motor producing 250Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels — a setup that remains unique in its segment.
