Banjir: Masyarakat diminta waspada, peka arahan pihak berkuasa – Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi meminta supaya para penduduk di kawasan yang dijangka mengalami banjir supaya sentiasa berwaspada dan peka dengan arahan pihak berkuasa.

Beliau berkata ini susulan Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (MetMalaysia) mengeluarkan ramalan cuaca signifikan bagi tempoh hari ini hingga Rabu, dan berdasarkan analisis model cuaca itu, amaran hujan berterusan tahap bahaya, buruk serta waspada dikeluarkan melibatkan Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Perlis, Kedah dan Sabah.

“Amaran angin kencang dan laut bergelora turut dikemas kini berkuat kuasa sehingga 21 Nov ini. Sementara itu di negeri-negeri lain, ribut petir berserta hujan lebat dan angin kencang yang lebih menyeluruh juga berpotensi berlaku dalam tempoh berkenaan,“ katanya menerusi hantaran di Facebook.

Bagi mendapatkan maklumat dan amaran semasa mengenai banjir, Ahmad Zahid berkata orang ramai boleh melayari laman web publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my atau @PubliclnfoBanjir (Facebook) dan @JPS_InfoBanjir (Twitter atau X).

“Bagi maklumat cuaca pula, orang ramai boleh muat turun aplikasi myCuaca untuk maklumat cuaca yang terkini dan sahih daripada MetMalaysia,“ katanya.

Sementara itu beliau berkata sehingga 12 tengah hari tadi, Perak, Terengganu dan Pahang dilaporkan terkesan dengan bencana banjir yang melibatkan masing-masing satu daerah di ketiga-tiga negeri itu.
