JKNK keluar 80 notis kompaun terhadap pengendali makanan di bazar Ramadan

KOTA BHARU: Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Kelantan (JKNK) mengeluarkan sebanyak 80 notis kompaun terhadap pengendali makanan di bazar Ramadan di negeri itu melibatkan nilai RM8,700 setakat semalam.

Pengarahnya Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin berkata kompaun di bawah Peraturan-Peraturan Kebersihan Makanan 2009 itu, antaranya melibatkan kesalahan tidak mengenakan pakaian sesuai sebagai peniaga dan pakaian tidak bersih.

Beliau berkata sehingga kini, sebanyak 1,027 gerai dan 1,672 pengendali makanan di bazar Ramadan seluruh Kelantan telah diperiksa dan didapati sebanyak 991 iaitu 96.5 peratus premis makanan pada tahap bersih.

“Pemeriksaan juga melibatkan penjaja sementara di seluruh jajahan bagi memastikan makanan yang dijual selamat dimakan dan tidak menjadi punca kejadian penyakit bawaan air dan makanan seperti demam kepialu dan taun,“ katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas Majlis Pelancaran ‘Walkabout’ Kempen Keselamatan Makanan di Bazar Ramadan Lembah Sireh, di sini, hari ini.

Sementara itu, Dr Zaini berkata pihaknya telah menerima satu kes keracunan makanan di sebuah asrama Sekolah Menengah di Kuala Krai pada 14 Mac lepas.

“Seramai 76 pelajar sekolah terbabit berusia antara 13 hingga 17 tahun telah menerima rawatan dan tiada kes yang masuk wad, cuma mereka mengalami simptom seperti cirit-birit dan loya.

“Kita telah buat pemeriksaan dan bagi nasihat kepada pengendali makanan supaya menambah baik penyimpanan bahan mentah supaya ia tidak berlaku lagi,“ katanya. –Bernama
