Permulaan baik bagi Martin selepas ungguli petak pertama FP1

SEPANG: Pelumba Prima Pramac Racing, Jorge Martin memberi amaran awal apabila mengungguli sesi Latihan Bebas 1 perlumbaan Grand Prix Motosikal Malaysia (MotoGP) di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang di sini hari ini.

Pelumba kedua terbaik dalam ranking kejuaraan dunia itu mencatat masa 59.513 saat (s) untuk mendahului pencabar terdekatnya, Alex Marquez dari Gresini Racing MotoGp dengan catatan 1:59.562s.

Rakan sepasukannya, Johann Zarco juga membuat permulaan sempurna apabila menamatkan saingan di tempat ketiga dengan 1:59.914s manakala juara dunia, Francesco Bagnaia dari Ducati Lenovo Team di tempat ke-15 dengan 2:00.888s.

Sementara itu dalam saingan Moto2, Fermin Aldeguer dari GT Trevisan SpeedUp menduduki tempat pertama dengan 2:06.183s untuk mengetepikan Briton Jake Dixon dari GASGAS Aspar Team yang meraih di tempat kedua (2:06.243s).

Pelumba Sepanyol, Pedro Acosta dari Red Bull KTM Ajo meraih tempat ketiga (2:06.638s) manakala pelumba wild card tempatan Helmi Azman yang mewakili Petronas MIE Racing RW menduduki tempat ke-32 dengan 2:12.225s.

Dalam aksi Moto3, Jaume Masia dari Leopard Racing menguasai FP1 (2:12.065s) diikuti oleh Deniz Oncu dari Red Bull KTM Ajo di kedudukan kedua (2:12.500s) manakala pelumba Itali, Romano Fenati dari Rivacold Snipers Team muncul di tempat ketiga (2:12.580s).

Ia merupakan permulaan yang mengecewakan bagi seorang lagi pelumba tempatan, Syarifuddin Azman atau lebih dikenali sebagai Damok mewakili MT Helmets – MSI apabila menduduki tempat ke-23 dengan 2:14.258s. –Bernama
