Tambang RM5 sehala tren Shuttle Tebrau untuk warganegara mulai 1 Ogos

KUALA LUMPUR: Bermula 1 Ogos ini, warganegara Malaysia yang menggunakan perkhidmatan tren Shuttle Tebrau bakal menikmati tambang RM5 sehala dari JB Sentral ke Woodlands, Singapura dan sebaliknya, dengan jualan tiket akan mula dibuka pada 29 Feb ini.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) dalam kenyataan memaklumkan ketika ini kadar tambang dari JB Sentral ke Woodlands adalah RM5 manakala bagi perjalanan sehala dari Woodlands ke Johor Bahru adalah SGD5.

“Pelarasan semula kadar tambang ini akan memanfaatkan kira-kira 40,000 rakyat Malaysia yang bergantung kepada mod perkhidmatan kereta api untuk berulang-alik antara JB Sentral dan Woodlands, apabila tidak perlu lagi membayar tambang berharga SGD5 dari Woodlands,” katanya.

Bagi menikmati keistimewaan itu, KTMB berkata warganegara Malaysia perlu mendaftar akaun di aplikasi KTMB Mobile (KITS) dan membuat pengesahan kad pengenalan terlebih dahulu di kiosk tiket (TVM) atau kaunter tiket di seluruh rangkaian KTMB.

KTMB juga akan membuka kaunter tambahan di JB Sentral bagi memastikan kelancaran pengesahan kad pengenalan yang dilaksanakan dari 19 Feb hingga 1 Mac.

Menurut kenyataan itu, pengesahan kad pengenalan adalah sebagai langkah keselamatan bagi mengelakkan pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab menyalahguna tambang warganegara.

Pengguna juga dinasihatkan mendaftar akaun KITS dan mod pembayaran tiket boleh dilakukan melalui KTM Wallet, E-wallet Touch & Go, E-wallet Boost, kad debit serta kad kredit, dan untuk sebarang maklumat lanjut orang ramai boleh menghubungi Pusat Panggilan KTM Berhad di 03-22671200 atau mendapatkan maklum balas segera melalui Messenger Facebook rasmi KTMB. –Bernama
